Description
Description
VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg nicotine pouches take the red grape flavour VELO also sells at 14mg and put it in a smaller pouch with far less nicotine. At 4mg per pouch, this is the lowest Purple Grape strength in VELO's UK range, and the Mini can holds 15 pouches instead of the 20 found in slim cans. Shoppers who have used VELO for a while may know the flavour as Royal Violet, its name before the 2024 UK rename.

- Nicotine strength: 4mg per pouch (9.5mg/g); 1 out of 6 on VELO's scale
- Pouch format: Mini
- Pouches per can: 15 Mini pouches, 6.3g net
- Tobacco-free: Yes, made with no tobacco leaf
- Made by: BAT (British American Tobacco)
- Former name: Royal Violet
How does the grape flavour come across?
UK retailers list red grapes as the flavour, and VELO's own wording adds a hint of acidity, so the grape should carry a slight sharpness rather than tasting simply sugary. There is no mint or cooling in the description, which keeps Purple Grape apart from VELO's Ice fruit range: what you get is grape, start to finish. The flavour name and description match the slim Purple Grape cans, so the real changes in this Mini version are the pouch size, the number in each can and the amount of nicotine in every pouch.
Mini 4mg or slim 14mg: which strength fits?
Each pouch here holds 4mg of nicotine. Haypp UK also lists 9.5mg/g, the nicotine per gram of pouch material, and VELO rates it 1 out of 6, with retailers labelling it Normal. The flavour's strong option is VELO Purple Grape 14mg: a slim pouch at 14mg per pouch (20mg/g), rated 5 out of 6, with 20 in each can, and meant for experienced users with high tolerance. The Mini 4mg is the low end of the same flavour, suited to people newer to pouches or anyone who wants grape with much less nicotine. More low-strength choices are in our light nicotine pouches.

VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg FAQs
Is VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg a good choice for a beginner?
For someone who already uses nicotine but is new to pouches, VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg is one of the lighter options: 4mg per pouch, 1 out of 6 on VELO's scale and labelled Normal by retailers. It is still a nicotine product and is not suitable for non-nicotine users.
What is the difference between VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg and VELO Purple Grape 14mg?
Both share the red grape flavour, but almost everything else changes. The Mini 4mg has 4mg per pouch (9.5mg/g), rates 1 out of 6 and comes 15 to a can. The 14mg is a slim pouch with 14mg per pouch (20mg/g), rates 5 out of 6 and comes 20 to a can.
Why are there 15 pouches in a can of VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg?
Fifteen is the count for UK VELO Mini cans, which weigh 6.3g net. VELO's slim cans hold 20 pouches in 14g, so a can of VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg has five fewer pouches than a slim can of the same flavour.
What does 9.5mg/g mean for VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg?
9.5mg/g is the amount of nicotine per gram of pouch material, as listed by Haypp UK. The per-pouch figure for VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg is 4mg, so the two numbers describe one strength in different units rather than two separate doses.
Is VELO Purple Grape the flavour that used to be called Royal Violet?
Yes. VELO renamed several UK flavours in 2024, and Royal Violet became Purple Grape. If you bought Royal Violet in the past, look for Purple Grape now; this Mini 4mg is the lightest version currently sold in the UK.
What does VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg taste like?
VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg tastes of red grapes. VELO's description adds a hint of acidity, so expect a slightly sharp grape rather than a plain sweet one. Retailers list grape as the only flavour note in this Mini can.
Is there any mint or cooling in VELO Purple Grape Mini?
No mint, menthol or cooling is listed for VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg. The flavour is red grape on its own, unlike VELO's Ice flavours such as Strawberry Ice, which pair fruit with mint.
Which strengths of VELO Purple Grape are sold in the UK?
In the UK, VELO Purple Grape comes as a Mini at 4mg and 6mg and as a slim pouch at 8mg and 14mg, and VELO's site also lists a 17mg. VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg is the lightest of these.
How is a VELO Mini can different from a VELO Slim can?
VELO makes two UK pouch formats, Mini and Slim. A VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg can holds 15 pouches and weighs 6.3g net, while VELO slim cans hold 20 pouches in 14g. Purple Grape Mini comes in 4mg and 6mg; the slim Purple Grape cans start at 8mg.
How long has VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg been on sale?
UK retailer Haypp lists a sales start date of 7 July 2025 for VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg, and it remains part of the current UK VELO range. A 6mg Mini of the same flavour is sold as well.
Who makes VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg?
BAT (British American Tobacco) owns and makes VELO, which it calls its flagship modern oral brand. In the UK, VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg is sold through Nicoventures Retail (UK) Ltd, the company named on VELO's UK website.
Does VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg contain tobacco?
No tobacco leaf is used in VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg; the pouch contains nicotine without it. Because nothing is lit or heated, it gives off no smoke or vapour, and you do not have to spit when using it.
How do I use a VELO Purple Grape Mini pouch?
Place one VELO Purple Grape Mini pouch under your upper lip and leave it to sit. There is no chewing involved. When you have had enough, lift it out and throw it in a bin.
How long should I keep a VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg pouch in?
That is up to you. Lots of people keep a pouch of VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg in for roughly 20 to 40 minutes, though the right time varies from person to person and you can take it out whenever you want.
Can I get VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg delivered tomorrow?
Yes, as long as your VELO Purple Grape Mini 4mg order reaches Snus O'Clock before 12 noon, when it qualifies for UK next day delivery as our shipping policy describes. Later or less urgent orders can take the 2–4 day option, and each one passes an 18+ age check.
